Experience and Training

In my years as a therapist, I have worked with adolescents, adults and couples from diverse backgrounds. I completed my post-graduate training as well as advanced training in couples work at the Women’s Therapy Center in Berkeley CA. I approach my work from a relational and psychoanalytic perspective and am particularly sensitive to issues related to diversity and difference.  I gained extensive experience working with patients struggling with eating disorders as a primary therapist at The Bella Speranza, a residential eating disorders treatment facility of The Bella Vita in Los Angeles.  I completed the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program and am currently a candidate at LAISPS, the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.   I am committed to professional development as a psychotherapist and attend trainings and workshops regularly.
